Lake Michigan Sports Bar in Walker

It did not feel 'clean' in there. The waitress seemed like she was miserable with her job, it was not busy but service was slow, the food was nothing to brag about in fact, it wad nasty, a table of 5 did not enjoy their food either and the atmosphere was kind of dive bar like. Sorry but this place needs an overhaul.

This place looks like a 70's retro bar until you get in and realize it's just a bar that hasn't been updated in a really long time. Don't let that fool you. The food is great and the drinks are reasonable priced. Nice place to hang out and talk to friends for a while. Not fast food.

Been here a few times but the food gets worse each time. The burger was burnt.

An excellent bar, I will be going back. The food was on point, the server was helpful, and even the owner talked with me at length and made my day!

Pretty decent bar good with a friendly staff. We started going there with a Groupon and continue to go. Prices are low as well.

One other customer on a Sunday afternoon. Staff was pleasant and food was quick to come. Menu was pretty basic, but decent prices. I have no idea on customer volume, drink prices or food quality on weekend evenings.

I loved it! Lots of hateful reviews but its a neighborhood bar! Relaxed atmosphere, I loved the old bar county type music playing and the food was well priced and very tasty. Our waitress was very friendly.

Called around 6:30pm New Years Eve to ask when they stopped serving food since I get out of work at 11pm. as told they served fried food until midnight if it's still busy. The woman who answered said to call when I got out & they would tell me if they still were. Called at 11:03pm after getting out of work and no one answered the phone. Called twice more to the same. So now I've used my gas to drive there just to get told they're not serving food at all right now & she didn't even give a flying fruck, walking away before even finishing her sentence like I'm not even there. Don't know what I seen in this place. Thanks for wasting my time & not having the balls to just tell me the truth over the phone. Don't like liars. I hope my 1 star brings down the total rating as much as possible. Would give 0 if I could. 👎

Wow!! Where do I start I was just there last night on 9/26/19.I walked into the bar and ordered an iced tea and they did not serve it so they brought me a coke instead and responded with while we do not have iced tea so I ordered a lemonade and let the coke kind of sit there my day ordered a Sprite and she said it tasted like tonic water I ordered the hangover Burger she ordered an olive burger when our food came she received an onion burger and I received and hangover burger with black bacon.... I think you can kind of figure out my opinion of that place from there....

Mediocre food. Nice staff

Horrible experience. We arrived for the all you can eat fish fry at 7, wanting to be in and out because we had limited time with a toddler. They told us to hurry and order if we wanted fish because they were almost out so we did. 30 min later after not getting our food they told us they were out of fish, but they were getting more so be patient, all while everyone else continued to get served fish, even tables that were sat after we arrived. We finally got our fish at around 8:30. My toddler would have been disappointed with the portion size. We immediately got our checks and left. Pretty rediculous. Don’t make the same mistake we did

Awesome lunch deals with $5 burgers (8 oz!) and wraps. There's no way to beat that! Very tasty. Plenty big. Good service. I will definitely return. You can get Groupons which offer a great discount but you cannot use Goupons with lunch specials (which makes sense to me but it is not mentioned anyplace in the Groupon).

I am the traveler and would travel back for the 5 dollar wet burrito on Wednesday server was pleasant food came to table hot and tasty. Recommend nice crowd and had painting classes there too!

Had a riot here, karaoke was so much fun and the locals were inviting and super friendly.

Went there for lunch yesterday. It was quite, and only a handful of people there. Service was a bit slow to start, but we understand they were short staffed. The food came out quickly and was pretty good. Our waitress did completely forget our appetizer, but we figured it was easier just to ignore it and we weren't charged for it, so no big deal. Our bill was cheap and we did get in and out in 40 minutes.

All the haters need to get a life. This is by far the best Indian food in West Michigan, for one thing. It’s only on Saturdays for now but they’re bringing it to the everyday menu. It’s creamy, filling, unique and actually affordable.Yes, the service can be a bit slow but it’s always friendly and accommodating. PLUS, the karaoke is amazing. The host is very kind and clearly has a good time, whether the singers are goofy/fun or more serious/talented.

We went there for the live music, but wait staff was sub-par in my book. Food was good though.

We find there specials are priced right and the owner makes sure everything is good. Pool is free on Sundays and other occasional days. Drinks are good.

Not too thrilled. The burger is okay but it is a preformed frozen patty. The bacon was really good. My husband had the melt but they don't grill the bread which is odd. Not too impressed, won't be back. I think this is more a place with food for people who are drinking a lot.

This place has shuffle board, pool tables, darts, with a cozy atmosphere. The food is pretty good, and the staff is almost always cool as cukes.

Is has the genetic food burgers, pizza and burritos which are good no doubt. Just didn't care for the smell of the cancer seeping inside from the cooks out back. Check out groupon for a deal.

Good food, friendly atmosphere, great wait staff. I ordered the chicken fingers with a side of broccoli bites. Hubby had the loaded nachos....we were both very happy with the meals. Our waitress was very attentive, bringing our drinks right away and getting our order.It's a great place to go for a meal with friends or family.

We had been going here on many many occasions and we liked it, however the last few times we were there it was very poor service. Just last night we went. The waitress served my husband the wrong wings and rather then fix them she went back and forth until she took them back and then had another person bring them and offered no apologies for the mistake the other server did. Then I ordered a chef salad and I got a side salad and when I said I ordered chef she said that's what I mean. Um no egg, no tomatoes and it had black olives?! That's not a chef salad. No refills on drinks till we were done with our meal. Just poor service. I feel like the management changed.

Great place great employees they take care of you they treat you like family good pricing great food great hang out the kind of place you want to spend the evening

Lake Michigan sports bar is a great place to go. The service is quick and good and the food is amazing. I went here for lunch the other day and the burgers are huge. A ton of food for a good price. The BBQ burger is especially good and I have been meaning to go back for sure. They often times have a groupon for half off your bill if you purchase $20 of stuff including some food item. It's a great deal and I'll be sure to go back at some point.

This is a great local restaurant/bar. The staff is always friendly and the owner never fails to greet us and make us feel welcome. The burgers here are the best in GR!! They have a good beer selection, including beer from local breweries I understand that they also serve Indian food on Saturday evenings. I haven't been able to make it at that time but I've heard it's great.

Not fast service. Waitress said only one cook on staff. Ordered a deluxe wet burrito and it was ice cold in the middle.

Kinda loud.. needs a little love (some sprucing up a bit) - but the service was great helpful and friendly.. waiting for our food now so I will update review then. Wowzers!! Had to change ratings to 5 stars!! Not only was the food 100%AMAZING!, our server (jazmyne) was completely awesome!! We will definitely be going back and soon too!! Gotta see what the daily specials are!! Yumm 😁

Went to Standale sports bar for the first time in a while they have a new cook his name is Brian, I was very satisfied with his cooking and I will return I'm excited for the food he will be preparing in the next couple of months new menu everything looks great

The place is kind of sketchy and needs to be updated, but the food is Amazing!! You get a lot of food for the price. Fried pickles were the best fried pickles I've ever had. Our server was awesome too. But it really needs to be updated it smelled weird and was just unpleasant to be in

Free pool. Reasonable prices on drinks. Very good food.

Nice sports bar on the N.W. side of Grand Rapids. Had a good time playing free pool, but was cut off after one drink. Not very happy though I enjoyed the company. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

Awful, just awful. Our waitress was wonderful, and that is all of the good i can say about this place. The kitchen back door was left open to all manner of bugs. Beer bottles sitting around outside along with trash. Our food was delivered to our table slowly, so some of us had finished, before others had their food. We were a party of nine, and for the most part the only patrons. A friend found hair in her food, the quesadilla had 2 small pieces of chicken. Menu items offered are no longer served. The chips and salsa had black gunk on them which the kids got on their hands and clothes, when we asked about what it was we were told "stuff" from the grill got in our chip baskets. Gross i tell you, it was gross. We went because of a Groupon deal, buyer beware.

Great place with great food. Service was top notch. Great beers. Very affordable. Karaoke was very fun.
